We’re reaching out to coaches, players and parents in hopes of finding winter sports teams, or individual athletes, that are doing something special over the holidays.

Whether it’s volunteering for a charity, serving up meals at a soup kitchen or collecting gifts or food for the less fortunate, we’d like to hear about it for a special Christmas story slated to run Dec. 24-Dec. 26. If your team’s particular act of kindness takes place after the official holiday seasons is over, that’s OK too.

Either give us a call at (586) 498-1048 or e-mail sshanley@candgnews.com if you think your team fits the bill.
