She truly cares about her family, and supports her children in whatever we pursue. Soon both of her kids will be in college, so for the first time in 18 years, it'll just be her and my
dad. She deserves the best!

Mom’s name: Andrea D. | Entered by: Michelle D. | Southfield

My mom is great because she is always thinking of others first. She is not only a wonderful mother of two, but a grandmother of three. I recently had to go back to school to finish my degree and my mother was right there for me to watch my kids, she never complains. I don’t have a lot of money right now and can’t afford much for Mother’s Day for her. I think she would be really excited to get these tickets for Mother’s Day! She really deserves something nice in return for everything she does for me and my kids.
Mom’s name: Phyllis H. | Entered by: Jessica K. | Rochester

She worked so very hard for my brother and I when we were young. My parents divorced when I was 5 and my mom at that time did not work. She started waiting tables and put herself through school at the same time. Now she is in the corporate world. I couldn't be more proud. She did everything in her power to give my brother and I a great childhood. Now I am a parent myself, and can see exactly why she did what she did.
Mom’s name: Carole F. | Entered by: Maren S. | Clawson

My Mom had a heart transplant 8 years ago. We almost lost her several times prior to her transplant and we feel so blessed to have her in our lives today.  She is the most wonderful role-model I could ever have in my life.  I thank God for her everyday.
Mom’s name: Rosalie R. | Entered by: Kimberly Ayrault | Grosse Pointe Woods

She always did without.  She raised 8 children with no family around to help her.  She was always loving, kind, caring and encouraging.  I didn't realize then how hard life was for her...I didn't realize that when she cried it was because we didn’t have much and she wanted more for us.
Mom’s name: Lois B. | Entered by: Patti J. | Farmington

My Mom. is great because she has done wonderful, glorious and sacrificial things for her family all of her 81 years.  As a wife for 61 years, she cares daily for our dad (85 years) who is handicapped and a bilateral amputee of the lower extremities.  Despite her own personal health challenges of osteoarthritis in her hands, back and legs; diabetes and neuropathy, she manages to maintain her role as wife and mother independently in their home. Mother has successfully raised and educated four adult children and cared for sick family members and seeing her younger family members and sibling die.  As a nurse she has bore the responsibility of comforting, soothing and providing needed support to her family and friends as they made their transition to another life.
Mom’s name: Essie J. | Entered by: Jewell M. | Southfield

She always puts her family first. Mom takes care of everyone — she's even a member of the "sandwich generation" and takes care of her 92 year-old-mom, long distance. I know she's been wanting to see Menopause the musical, and as a broke college student I know I won't be able to buy her tickets.
Mom’s name: Jodi R. | Entered by: Gina R. | Madison Heights

At age of almost 90, my lovely Mom who has been well & strong all her life is now ill with terminal cancer ... she is courageous, in some discomfort & would love to be my celebrated guest for Menopause The Musical!

She is always there for people and takes care of everyone before herself and takes me anywhere plans everything pays the bills and buys food and does everything a regular mom does only like a bagilliontrillion times better
Mom’s name: Genevieve | Entered by: Sara | Rochester Hills

She gave me a second chance on life that I wouldn't have gotten if it wasn't for her. She allowed me to have a loving family, a good home, and dreams of my own that I have a chance to succeed. She is an amazing woman, who is always caring about her loved ones first and herself secondly. I appreciate her so much and I am thankful for all that she has done for me, no one can ever replace her.
Mom’s name:  Janet K. | Entered by: Brooke R. | Farmington Hills

My mom is great because she lovingly volunteers her time each week to watch and care for her young grandchildren — even on short notice.  The best part?  She's my mother-in-law.

She has spent her life taking care of others. Her seven siblings and parents. Her ill husband and five children.  Her terminally ill brother and then her terminally ill sister-in-law.
Mom’s name:  Nadia A. | Entered by: Nadia K. A. (her namesake) | Royal Oak

She has over 40 surgeries in her life and she has had 4 this year alone. She is a breast cancer survivor and she is taking care of her 8 year old granddaughter. She has a lot of health issues and she still smiles every day. Please pick her.
Mom’s name: Debra L. | Entered by: Pamela S. | St. Clair Shores

My mom is the best because she works her butt off.  She works almost every day at her job but 24/7 as a mom. The main reason why I did this is because I haven’t had time to be with her and do something with her. It’s always my littler sister that has her. but my mom is like superwoman . She will give up her plans for my sister and I. She doesn’t complain about anything .she is an tattoo artist and a mom. She has to deal with homework and customers all in the same day. You people are probably thinking what is so great about my mom from those other 1,000 kids but I will be the most happiest kid on Mother’s Day if I get this. Right now I think this will give her a break from both of her jobs! And I know this is more then 30 words but my mom is too great to explain.
Mom’s name: Jennifer | Entered by: Brittany | Troy

She wakes up everyday just to do the same thing over and over again. She takes care of us seven kids as best as she can. Our ages range from nineteen years all the way down to the twins that are almost three. I know she has been struggling to get by but she never shows it. She lives for us. I love my mom and I want to make this Mother’s Day which is three days after her birthday the best for her.
Mom’s name: Debra K. | Entered by: Danyel L. | Roseville

Supportive and encouraging are two great ways to describe my mom. Unconditionally she is always right behind me to back me up throughout all life's challenges.  My life would not be as special without a mom like her.  Being a great grandma also makes her a great mom.
Mom’s name: Pamela H | Entered by: Lisa F. | Roseville
